Standing Bar in Hanoi

Standing Bar serves craft beer only, from Vietnam based breweries such as Heart of Darkness, Phat Rooster and Pasteur Street. . . They also often have live music and comedy.. . Atmosphere is relaxed, view of truc bach lake, with two floors, and a terrace upstairs. . . The staff are very friendly and know a lot about the beers they serve. . . Prices for beer generally range between VND60,000 and VND90,000 per drink, and while this might strike you as more pricy than the average bar, do bear in mind that its craft beer from independent micro-brewries.. . Gets busy at the weekend, is very quiet on Wednesdays.. . And despite the name they do actually have an abundance of chairs.... . Definitely worth checking out!

Best little secret bar in Hanoi. Craft beers a plenty and the boss lady is a fun character. Great music and atmosphere. Highly recommended

Some really nice beers on tap. Knowledgeable staff and nice atmosphere. I would point out though that it's more of a western place and you will probably just see tourists or expats here. Built for tourists, used by them kind of thing.

Incredible selection of beers l and knowledgeable staff. Plenty of seating despite the name. Pretty Lakeside views and good food. A couple more vegetarian options would be nice though.

With a fantastic location overlooking Truc Bach lake, Standing Bar is the perfect spot to sit and watch the sunset on a lazy afternoon. Despite what the name suggests, there is seating available upstairs, though probably not if there are any events on. Standing bar has around 20 taps, from breweries all across Vietnam. If you're after beers from Saigon on tap, this is the place to go. At night, Standing Bar gets very busy and has a fantastic and lively atmosphere. Staff speak English and are happy to give advice and recommendations.

For those of you who think all beer tastes like piss (like me) you're in luck because they pity people like us and I had a WONDERFUL MOHITO while my partner had a porter. They were both delicious. Reasonable prices, sweet people, rooftop at sunset was awesome.

Super nice bar in a beautiful location. Faces the lake and offers a huge selection of craft beer. When you are sitting downstairs, the service is crazy fast but they seem to forget about people on the upstairs balcony. That's a shame because the balcony is gorgeous. I would like to go back and try the food because from what I could see, everyone that had food, it looked Awesome.

A nice place to drink a beer in the evening. Great selection available, prices around 90K a glass. Friendly staff. Tapas style food looked good. Views over the lake from the upstairs terrace.

Best craft beer spot in Hanoi. Tiny outside area to cill and enjoy great atmosphere. good with various kinds of craft beer.. Price are higher than others but selection is bigger as well . It could not be missed
